Warrenton Prom 2010
Well someone just go ahead and shoot me now; I have managed to miss the last 2 proms and this weekends Christmas market...
I need help in finding a place to stay in Warrenton or Carmine or somewhere close to the prom this spring (2010)... I have spent the last 3 days online and on the phone... looks like my gang will miss it again..
Maybe if anyone out there has any ideas???
Even trying to preplan for Fall 2010 but can't find a prom date (not a person - but the ACTUAL date)!!!!! Is there anyone out there that can help me.I don't want to find a place and have the wrong date for the fall prom ! I have several girlfriends that want to go and really didn't want to end up at a hotel in Brenham... any suggestions ??

as far as lodging...have you checked with Lenore at The Outpost? it's AMAZING out there!!!! oooor you could get all kinds o crazy and rent an RV and stay in an RV park! there is a park in ROUNDTOP, one in CARMINE, and one in warrenton (DILLARDS RV park). tonzzzz of houses, b&b's in the area too...did you check roundtop.org? and antiqueweekend.com??
sooo sad we have missed you the past few proms!!! and the HOnKYTONK HoLIDAY was awesome but don't worry...we may plan another big shindig in the future with the gang from the DiXIE CHIcKEN!!!
i THINK prom in FALL 2010 will be sept 30...but i still gotta do a little checking to be for sure! it's ALWAYS the THURSDAY of antiques week!

You don;t need aprom date and everyone there will be a date and having loads of fun! as far and bedding down to rest your head, try the antique weekend site at

You mean camping out as in no toilet ??? I think I could swing it, but my road buddy is a "never go anywhere without her makeup on" kind of girl and don't think she would dig having to wash up at the local store and pee in the bushes. hmmmm. Plus, I have late night bladder issues, esp. if I have been a drinkin'...
Need to start now planning for Summer/Fall '10 and looking for a place to stay.... have several friends that want to join us.. any other ideas? don't have an RV.
If anyone here finds out a real calendar date I would appreciate a heads up.

The FALL 2010 show dates will be September 26 - October 2 with PROM Thursday, Sept 30. JUNK-o-raMA PRom is always the last Thursday of the show!! Here are some ideas for lodging:
