I'm glad to know you enjoyed the hunting experience. Did ya'll get any deer this year? I love hunting. It feels me with a pride of knowing that I can take care of myself if necessary. I am happy that my dad showed me that element of life.
I wish it was Christmas today, so I would have a whole week more of vacation! Christmas holidays are almost over! : (

Texas Country Reporter!
I saw the Junk Gypsies again on Texas Country Reporter. I love you gals! You are the best! So down-to-earth, so unaffected, and so willing to share your lives with others! New Junky Find!
Found the coolest old solid wood and iron coffee table at a Goodwill store today! It's made out of thick door parts, heavy castle hinges, trap door on top, drawer in the side, heavy iron legs that Dozer cannot chew. So cool! I will post pics later. . .

Home again!
Made it home from Indiana! Be it ever so hot and humid, there's no place like home! East Texas has been getting rain lately, and it has gotten greener! How could I think Indiana was prettier? This area is just as pretty! So glad to be on Texas soil again with my pups and my peeps! Thanks to everyone for the comments! Love you Blacktop Ramblers! I'll miss my baby sis, though. . .

Road Trip Home!
Been visiting my baby sister in Indiana. Will miss her so much now! But my other sister and niece and I are on the road back home. Spent a great night in North Little Rock, now getting ready for the 6 hour stretch home to East TX. Rainy here, hope it is raining there, and a little greener. Indiana was SO green, and so much cooler than Texas. BUT Texas is home, so here we go. Ramblin' road-trippin' sistas away!!!

Halfway!
Halfway to Indiana! Nine hours of interstate driving--NOT my favorite way to go, but time is of the essence. Blytheville, AR, are you blythe? Not fair though, no junkin' today! MUST find some tomorrow!!!

- Know what you mean about this snow! ~ We've been hit with storms every Saturday for the past 3 weeks! ~ My poor dog hates hates going outside in the sloppy goo..tries to find a dry spot near one of the trees, an' comes back inside leaving a trail of muddy paw prints! ~ Ack!! ~
