Its never as good as I want it to be, not as good as whats in my artsy mind. I know, INCURABLY ROMANTIC is the problem, but Hallmark just doesn't get it right ya know. Not the way I see it! Valentines Day is: Old love letters tied with velvet ribbons, chipped china plates with big slumpy roses, lil tiny perfume bottles, vintage chandaleirs, shattered lace, faded velvets, worn out cowboy boots from too much dancin, broken hearts, trembling tenderness, unspeakable desire, shameless wild feelings, loading antiques in the rain with tears coming down, old lovers, new lovers, Australians with their good looks & bloody accents, old lovers, new lovers, forgetting the ex-husbands, memories of roadside banquets of Merlot, bread & cheese, star lit dancing, red lip staining kisses,Texas road trips, two steppin cowboys (the dealers of ragged dreams & broken promises,) every blues song I love,every handsome exciting man in my favorite novel, and, of course, I would lke that in an old Valentine Candy Box made new with vintage lace, old photos, antique rose fabric, fringe, red velvet, tassels, hand dyed ribbon, angique buttons, yoyos & some handpainted love & personal writing- all this with my favorite chocolates and thats why I'm making my own Valentines. So back at ya til then I'm prancin & dancin at the startin gate & chompin at the bit. - Oh, and Happy Valentines Day
