I enjoy writing poetry
I am a fourth generation Texan, ancestors hail from Austria and Germany (and a tad of Bohemian I'm told....LoL... surely)
My family and I have been selling junk at Warrenton
for 15+ years..It definitely gets in your blood..
(Help we can't stop!)
We seem to forget the heat, dust, rain, sleet, cold, mud and long hours
within 6 months because we keep on setting up our wares
every April and October! Go figure..a glutton for punishment perhaps?
I guess we just enjoy it....the antiquers having fun, exhausted, hunting for just the right item..and when we have it, It makes our day!
I collect so many things, mainly handmade oak baskets, vintage perfume bottles,
anything with roses on it! and of course anything art nouveau!
Please send me a friend request if you should be so inclined, I welcome all!
Oh and I will try to post some poetry as life inspires, so check back!

- Girl,you might not remember me, but we've made contact before. I've worked over 11 years at Borders & was always so busy. Recently I quit, & now I'm trying to make a come back. - still cold & wintery here in St. Louis; my car is stuck sideways in the uphill driveway to the garage & can't get to work. Whats an old gal like me doing still working anyway? But, I am able to put this out of my mind somewhat because my friend Charlene (Tattered Rose) and I are making plans for RoundTop & Warrenton. I cant think of anything else. Give mea note & let me know where you are-I'll be looking to find you then. Hope the snow & ice melts soon I need to go to the store. catch you later.

- sorry, sorta dropped off the edge of everything during the before & after christmas times. I still work 40 hours & can't keep from losing my mind this time of year-work is work & even in the bookstore it gets crazy. I'm sorta back & want to say thanks for the Christmas wish. I am here in St Louis in the cold where it was down to zero last night. Its a hard time of year here for someone accustomed to Texas & or Los Angeles. I am really lucky for the stack of phenominal books on my nightstand & now the time to read & plan for a trip to Texas. I hope to see you at Warrenton so will want to know where you set up. Can't wait; I'm so excited. Catch you later.
